A pair of vintage Saarinen for Knoll fiberglass tulip armchairs. The tulip armchair, and whole tulip collection, is one of the most iconic designs of the 20th Century. Eero Saarinen had the idea to create these pieces to clean up the muddy look of dozens of legs under a table. These pedestal style chairs created a chic, clean, and modern look for the modern home. Each of these vintage tulip chairs feature the original bowtie style Knoll tagging underneath the cushions. They feature a white fiberglass construction and an aluminum base. Each chair is fitted with seat cushions and accent pillows which are upholstered with a very mid mod fabric. These chairs are in good to fair condition, with quite a bit of wear on the arms and discoloration throughout the chairs. Overall these pieces are in good condition structurally, just need some love and a home. Each chair measures approximately 31.75 inches tall, 26 inches wide, and 20 inches deep. They have a seat height of 18 inches, a seat width of 18 inches, an arm height of 8 inches, and a back height of 16 inches.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
