This striking 20th-century portrait features a seated male figure rendered in bold, postmodern style with fractured forms and high-contrast colors. Signed and dated 1971 on the lower right. Executed in vibrant acrylic, the figure is outlined in expressive black contour lines and set against a vivid orange background, enhancing the psychological tension of the piece. Gallagher’s use of exaggerated anatomy and segmented planes channels influences of Cubism and Expressionism while maintaining a contemporary, introspective narrative.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
